Look what I found



While I as digging through fabric to find something to make the heart blocks (see previous post), I came across this little quiltlet. Shame on me ... I made this for Ami Simm's Alzheimer‘s Art Quilt Initiative and never sent it in. I will be making this one a priority to get out of here.


It's machine applique, machine quilted in a spiderweb pattern. The pictures don't really do it justice as it really is square. I called it Following the trail of thoughts. I can't tell you how many times I've heard or said something about losing my marbles. I sewed a few beads along the path to represent those lost thoughts.


Ami's project is a wonderful opportunity to raise money for Alzheimer's research. Be sure to check it out.
